Biography

Kwame Gyabaah is the Manager of the Perioperative Service Sterile Processing Department (SPD) at Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware, overseeing SPD operations in two ambulatory surgery centers in Deptford, New Jersey, and Malvern, Pennsylvania. His passion for healthcare began in high school in Ghana and grew 13 years ago while working as an SPD technician.

Kwame has held lead, supervisory, and managerial roles in top healthcare systems in New York, including Mount Sinai and Montefiore Health System. He recently joined Nemours Children's Health, continuing to mentor SPD technicians and improve departmental operations through data-driven strategies.
